The conditions we treat
Physical conditions treated using physiotherapy
Scope of Practice
Chartered Physiotherapists treat a wide variety of conditions ranging from respiratory problems to strokes. Because of the ever expanding scope of physiotherapy practice, physiotherapists tend to specialise in a certain field.
We have taken a special interest in the assessment and treatment of neuromusculoskeletal problems through the correction of movement abnormalities using joint & soft tissue mobilisation and manipulation, electrotherapy, acupuncture, exercises and postural/ergonomic advice.
Muscles, joints and nerves should work together to facilitate healthy function of the body, but this balance is often upset by injury, disease or misuse. The aim of physiotherapy is to resume this balance.
At the clinic you will receive a thorough examination in order to successfully evaluate your problem. From this a course of treatment can be planned tailored to your needs.
